Chef Men Somera

After completing his culinary education at the Paul DuBrule Academy in Siem Reap, Chef Somera ventured overseas for hands on experience in Koh Samui, Thailand. Returning back to Cambodia to 5* Sokha Hotel before embracing the new challenge at Theato restaurant and continuing his passion for fitness.

Chef Sokny

Chef Sokny joins us over from the Chinese House after a 2-year stint there. Prior to joining the culinary team, he studied at the PSE International for Professional cooking skills, where he first developed his passion for cooking and an eye for detail. A huge fan of country side and volleyball – Sokny brings his youthful energy and creativity to the team.

Chef Lao Tola

Chef Tola began his cooking career at the luxurious Amansara resort in Siem Reap where quickly gained the love for all things pastry and a bug for travelling. Having then moved on to SongSaa private island resort in Cambodia and pastry consulting for Nihiwatu in Sumba, Indonesia – he returned back to his homeland to work at The Common Tiger and then the Tiger’s Eye in Phnom Penh, before joining Theato.

Theato Restaurant was developed under the watchful eye of passionate Ukrainian Chef Anton Ventslav. Anton’s vision to marry superb local ingredients, established local culinary talent and the best of international techniques has been achieved with the passing of the kitchen to the resident Theato kitchen team.
